About Masidas

Masidas is a small online shop for women's and men's clothes and accessories: knitwear, cotton shirts, tailored trousers, dresses, coats and bags. We began with a much larger catalog and pared it down to this.

How we choose

We choose every piece ourselves, from a small number of suppliers. Before a piece goes live we study its photographs, its measurements and its fabric label, and we leave out anything we would not wear to a meeting, a dinner or a weekend away. We favour solid colours and clean lines, and we keep editing.

What every product page tells you

  • What the piece is made of, as the supplier states it.
  • How it fits, with measurements wherever the supplier provides them.
  • When it will usually arrive.
  • How to return it.

When a name says "linen look" or "wool feel", it describes how the fabric looks or handles, and the true fibre is printed beside it. If we cannot confirm a piece is leather, we call it faux leather. If a measurement you need is missing, write to us and we will ask the supplier.

You will not read "sustainable", "luxury" or "handmade" here unless we can show you why.

Where your order comes from

Our pieces ship directly from our suppliers' warehouses, most of them overseas, and every order carries a tracking number. Most orders arrive in 9 to 14 business days, and each product page shows its own estimate.

Shipping, returns and help

  • US orders over $75 ship free. Below that, standard US shipping is $7.99 or less, shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Returns: write to us within 7 days of delivery. Pieces must be unworn, with tags, in their original packaging. Once we accept a return, we email you the return address and instructions, and the refund goes back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Sale items and gift cards are final. A sale item is a piece bought at a reduced price shown on its product page; a discount code used at checkout, such as a welcome code, does not make a piece a sale item.
